Customizing the Learning Library

If the Learning Library is turned on, you can customize it to reflect your company brand. The following items can be customized:

  • Logo that displays in the top left corner of the header
  • Background color of the header
  • Title text and color
  • Logo that displays on the Passed Assessment page

As you make edits, you can preview your customizations in real-time before saving your changes to the Learning Library. Once you save your customizations, the Learning Library is updated immediately.

  1. Click the Administration cog on the navigation bar of the Management Center.
  2. Select Skins and Templates > Customize Learning Library in the left navigation menu.
  3. Review the following areas:

    Field

    Description

    Header Logo

    Displays the image and filename of the logo in the header.

    Header Color

    Displays the hex color code and color of the header background.

    Learning Library Title

    Displays the text color of the title and all translations of the title.

    Passed Assessment Logo

    Displays the image and filename of the logo on the Passed Assessments page.
  4. Click Edit to customize the Learning Library.
  5. Perform any of the following options:

    NOTE:

    All changes display in the Learning Library preview to the right.

    If You Want to

    Change the logo in the header
    1. Click Choose File in the Header Logo area.
    2. Select the logo you want to display in the header of the Learning Library.

      NOTE: The logo must be a PNG or SVG file. It should be cropped, centered and have a transparent background.

      NOTE: The minimum width or height of the logo is 100 pixels.

    Change the background color of the header
    1. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the color box in the Header Color area.
    2. Move the slider bar on the right up and down to select a color.

      NOTE: You can also enter a hex color code in the text field.

    3. Click Accept.

    Change the title of the Learning Library
    1. Select a Text Color in the Learning Library Title area.
    2. Enter the title in the text field.
    3. If you want to customize the title for different languages, select a language from the drop-down list to the right of the title field and edit the title.

      NOTE: You do not have to save after each language change.

    Change the logo on the Passed Assessment page
    1. Click Choose File in the Passed Assessment Logo area.
    2. Select the logo you want to display on the Passed Assessment page of the Learning Library.

      NOTE: The logo must be a PNG or SVG file. It should be cropped, centered and have a transparent background.

      NOTE: The minimum width or height of the logo is 64 pixels.

    Allow users to tell other users about content in the Learning Library

    Select ON for the Allow users to Tell Others about content option in the Features area.

    NOTE: Click OFF to turn off the option.

  6. Click Save.

    NOTE:

    The Learning Library is updated immediately.
