Introduction to Creating User and Logon Alerts

For logon alerts, refer to “Customizing the EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001 Function Module"for information on the SAP customizations required to enable this functionality.

For user alerts, refer to “Customizing the FUNCTION NAVIGATION_EXECUTE_OBJECT_HELP Function” for information on the SAP customizations required to enable this functionality.

There are three basic steps to create an alert:

1. Activate alerts for the SAP system.
2. Configure the system by creating the message and the alert.
3. Activate alerts for a designated server(s).
   

   NOTE:	Alerts functionality is not available for SAP HTML GUI users.
   NOTE:	Depending on whether you are creating user alerts or logon alerts, some options in the following procedures may not be available.
