Help Launchpad SAP Customization

Once the Base_modification has been transported into the SAP system, the Help Menu and the HELP_START function module must be customized. A person with authorization to alter the ABAP code in your company’s SAP system must perform these changes. The following customizations are described in the section:

• Customizing the help menu
• Customizing the HELP_START Function Module
• Customizing the FUNCTION_NAVIGATION_EXECUTE_OBJECT_HELP Function

The following customization procedures reflect use of a 4.6 SAP system and SAP GUI. You may notice presentation differences if you are using a prior or later SAP system and/or GUI.

Customizing the Help Menu

1. Perform one of the following actions:

   If You Want To	Then
   Customize the help menu using SAP CRM or SAP SRM	Start the transaction using the transaction code SE41. Enter MENUSYST in the Program field. Select Menu bars. Click Change. Click to confirm the message about being careful when making changes . Double-click Help below the Used everywhere heading. Double-click Help.
   Customize the help menu using a supported SAP system other than CRM or SRM	Start the transaction using the transaction code SE80. Select Program from the drop-down list. In the field below, enter MENUSYST. Click  . Select MENUSYST > GUI STATUS. If available in your SAP system, double-click FIORI_MEN; otherwise double-click MEN. Click to confirm the message about being careful when making changes . Click  to the right of Menu bar. Select System Help. Click  . Click to confirm the message about making changes in foreign name spaces. Click Maint. in orig.lang.. Click to confirm the message about transport GUI objects. Double-click Help. Select the last line under the Code heading.

2. Select EDIT INSERT SEPARATOR LINE.
3. Click to confirm the message about changing the menu.

   NOTE:

   Blank menu items are inserted at the end of the list.

4. Select the first newly-inserted line.
5. Enter ZCHS in the Code field.
6. Enter [Company or Project Name] Help Setup in the Text field.
7. Select the second-newly inserted line.
8. Enter ZCHC in the Code field.
9. Enter [Company or Project Name] Help in the Text field.
10. Double-click on code ZCHS.
11. Enter H in the Functional Type field.
12. Click .
13. Double-click on code ZCHC.
14. Enter H in the Functional Type field.
15. Click .
16. Select code ZCHS.
17. Select EXTRAS > ACTIVE FUNCTIONS IN MULTIPLE STATUSES.
18. Click .
19. Perform the following actions:

    If	Then
    You double clicked the GUI Status FIORI_MEN	Select CTU. Select FIORI_LIST. Select FIORI_LIST_UC. Select FIORI_MEN. Select LIST. Select LIST_UC. Select MEN.
    You double clicked the GUI Status MEN	Select CTU. Select LIST. Select LIST_UC. Select MEN.

20. Click Copy.
21. Select code ZCHC.
22. Select EXTRAS > ACTIVE FUNCTIONS IN MULTIPLE STATUSES.
23.  Click .
24. Perform the following actions:

    If	Then
    You double clicked the GUI Status FIORI_MEN	Select CTU. Select FIORI_LIST. Select FIORI_MEN. Select LIST. Select MEN.
    You double clicked the GUI Status MEN	Select CTU. Select LIST. Select MEN.

25. Click Copy.
26.  Click .
27.  Enter a workbench request number in the Request field, or click to create a new workbench request.
28.  Click .
29. Click to activate the modification.

Customizing the HELP_START Function Module

1. Start the transaction using the transaction code SE80.
2. Click .
3. Select Function Group from the drop-down list.
4. In the field below, enter SHL2.
5. Click  .
6. Select SHL2 > FUNCTION MODULES.
7. Double-click HELP_START.
8. Click Source code.
9. Click .
10. Enter HILFE-men in the Find what: field.
11. Double-click the location.
12. Click  .
13. Enter the access key code (obtained via SAP’s OSS/SAPNet system) in the Access key field.
14. Click Continue.
15. Click to confirm the message about making changes in foreign name spaces.
16. Click Maint. in logon lang. .
17. Place the cursor at the beginning of the line where "GLOS’ is.
18. Click Insert.
19. Enter the comment: * ANCILE Context Sensitive Help (CSH) include. 1
20. Click Insert.
21. Enter the text: INCLUDE /RWD/Y_CSH_MENU_LSHL2U01.
22. Click Save.
23. Enter a workbench request number in the Request field, or click to create a new workbench request.
24. Click .
25. Click to check the syntax of the inserted statement.
26. Click to activate the modification.

Customizing the FUNCTION_NAVIGATION_EXECUTE_OBJECT_HELP Function

1. Start the transaction using the transaction code SE37.
2. Enter NAVIGATION_EXECUTE_OBJECT_HELP in the Function module field.
3. Click Display.
4. Click Source Code.
5. Click .
6. Enter CASE REPORTTYPE in the Find what: field.
7. Click Find Next.
8. Click Cancel.
9. Click  .
10. Enter the access key code (obtained via SAP’s OSS/SAPNet system) in the Access key field.
11. Click Continue.
12. Click .
13. Click Maint. in logon lang..
14. Place the cursor at the beginning of the line CASE REPORTTYPE.
15. Click Insert.
16. Perform one of the following actions:

    If You Want To	Then
    Use SAP Basis Level 730	Enter include /RWD/navigate_1. NOTE: Include the period in this statement.
    Use SAP Basis Level other than 730	Enter include /RWD/Help_Notify_1. NOTE: Include the period in this statement

17. Click
18. Enter CALL_SY_TCODE in the Find what: field.
19. Click Find Next.
20. Click Cancel.
21. Place the cursor at the beginning of the line CALL_SY_TCODE.
22. Click Insert.
23. Perform one of the following:

    If You Want To	Then
    Use SAP Basis Level 730	Enter include /RWD/navigate_2. NOTE: Include the period in this statement.
    Use SAP Basis Level other than 730	Enter include /RWD/Help_Notify_2. NOTE: Include the period in this statement

24. Click to check the syntax of the inserted statement.
25. Click to activate the modification.

Customizing the EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001 Function Module

1. Start the transaction using the transaction code SE80.
2. Click  in the drop-down list in the left pane.
3. Select Function group.
4. In the field below, enter XUSR.
5. Click .
6. Select Function modules.
7. Double-click EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001.
8. Perform one of the following:

   If You Want To	Then
   Continue customizing the EXIT_SAPSUSF_001 Function Module	Double-click ZXUSRU01.
   Create ZXUSRU01 because it does not exist	Expand the Includes folder. Right-click ZXUSRU01. Select Create. Click .

9. Click  .
10. Acknowledge the displayed warning, and proceed with obtaining and entering the access key code.
11. Click Insert.
12. Insert include /RWD/USR_LOGON. after the last line.

    NOTE:

    Include the period in the statement.

13. Click to check the syntax of the inserted statement.
14. Click .

    NOTE:

    The system displays the message "Program ZXUSRU01 saved" and the module will indicate "Active".
