Setting Up and Using Custom Help

The following procedures show the end user how to set up a custom help server. The section will also show the end user how to access custom context-sensitive help created with uPerform.

Selecting a Help Server

1. Open an SAP session.
2. Enter the transaction code for which you want to create custom help.
3. Select HELP > CUSTOM HELP SETUP.
4. Click .
5. Select the applicable server.

   NOTE:

   Help servers provide context-sensitive help in the uPerform environment.

6. Click .
7. Click .

Accessing Custom Help

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.
2. Perform one of the following:

   If You Want To	Then
   Execute a context-sensitive search of uPerform content	Select HELP >CUSTOM HELP.
   Execute a generic search of uPerform content	1. Select HELP > CUSTOM HELP OPTIONS > [YOUR ORGANIZATION NAME] UPERFORM SEARCH. 2. Enter the search terms in the Containing the words field. 3. Select the search server from the drop-down list. 4. Click Search uPerform Database. 5. To exit the search screen, click Exit.

   NOTE:

   Context-sensitive help displays in a browser window on top of the SAP application.
