When you assign a website context to content within the document library (also referred to as authoring files), you are creating a link from the Learning Library to the content. You are not copying or moving content into the Learning Library. The link informs the Server of the proper published content to display on the Learning Library end user website.
Document library content can be linked to more than one location within the Learning Library end user website, but content must be within the same project. Website context assignment is available to administrators and to authors who have been granted access by an administrator.
The following pre-defined content status filters are available to narrow down the list of content:
- All - Displays all assigned content in the Learning Library with any status. This is the default view.
- Published - Displays published content that has not expired.
NOTE:
Expiration dates are determined from the retention period settings for the project. Refer to Setting a Retention Policy.
- Unpublished - Displays unpublished content that has not expired.
NOTE:
Unpublished content does not display on the Learning Library end user website. Refer to Publishing Content For Display On The Website.
- New (last 7 days) - Displays content, published or unpublished, that has been updated within the last seven days and has not expired.
- Expiring - Displays content with an expiration date within the next 90 days.
- Expired - Displays content with an expiration date that has passed.
