Inserting a Lesson Into a Course Package
- Create or open a course package.
- In the Task Pane area, select the package root page or place the cursor where you want to insert a lesson.
- Select .
- Enter a name for the lesson in the Name field.
Inserting, Replacing or Updating a Source File in a Course Package
- Create or open a course package.
- Choose one of the following options:

Insert a source file into a course package
- In the Task Pane area, click on a root folder, lesson, or source file.
- Select .
- Go to the next step.
Update or replace a source file in a course package
- In the Task Pane area, click on the source file you want to replace.
- Click Replace in the Content Area on the right.
- Go to the next step.
- Complete the following fields in the Insert Source File window:

Select Local to insert content saved to your local source directory. OR
- Select From Server to insert content from the server.
NOTE: This option is not available in uPerform Express.
- Select a project from the Project drop-down list.
Source file
Click on the file you want to insert.
Publication
Click on the publication type. Only those publication types that produce Flash output are listed.
- Select From Server to insert content from the server.
- Click Insert.
- If you are updating a document from the Server, click Update to ensure you are inserting the most recent version from the Server.
Reordering Content within a Course Package
- Click on the lesson or source file you want to move.
- Choose from the following options:

Move the lesson or source file above or below another lesson or source file
Drag the lesson or page above or below another item in the Task Pane.
Move the lesson or page into another lesson
Drag the lesson or page onto the item in the Task Pane.
Viewing and Editing Properties for Course Packages
- Open a course package.
- Select a file type from the Task Pane.
- Optionally, edit the name of the document in the Name field.
- Review the following information for source files in the Content Area on the right:

Displays the file name for the content.
Publication
Displays the publication type.
GUID
Displays the unique identifier for the content.
Version Number
Displays the current version number for the content.
Language
Displays the language of the content.
Created
Displays the creation date of the content to ensure content is up to date.
Last Modified
Display date and time the document was last modified.
Last Accessed
Displays the date and time the content was last accessed.
