- Click on the menu.
- Select .
- Under Server, select General Settings.
- From the Rapid Recorder Task List, click to open the Settings window.
- Select the Use Server option and complete the following information:

Interface Language
Select a language from the drop-down list.
Server Location
Enter the Server location in the format http://[server address].
Remember Me
Select this option to remember your credentials when connecting to the Server.
Username
Enter a username.
Password
Enter the user password.
Trust invalid SSL certificates
Select this option, if you are using a self-generated certification that has not been signed by a recognized signature authority.
Test Connection
Click Test Connection to test that your connection to the Server is working.
Proxy Settings
Select to bypass default proxy settings or enter a username and password for authentication.
- Click Test Connection to validate your Server location and user information and to obtain project and template information from the Server.
NOTE:
The Server Log In window displays if you have not authenticated in the current browser. Click the Sign in with button that corresponds to your authentication method. Enter your username and password in your authentication method.

Bypass proxy settings
- Click Proxy Settings under Server.
- Select Bypass default proxy settings from Internet Explorer.
Specify proxy settings
- Click Proxy Settings under Server.
- Select Proxy requires authentication.
- Enter a valid Username for the proxy server.
- Enter the Password for the proxy server.
Enter a product key
- Click Enter a product key.
- Enter the Company Name.
- Enter the Product Key.
- Click OK.
- Click OK when finished editing the Rapid Recorder settings.
