Manage All Publications
- From the Editor, open the new template.
- Click the Publications tab.
- Select Manage All Publications in the task pane.
- Complete/review following fields:
Field
Description
Enabled
Select this option to enable the publication.
Sequence
Displays the order the publication will appear in the drop-down list of the published documentation.
Name
Displays the name of the publication.
Type
Displays the publication type.
Course Preview
Select a course style you want to preview from the drop-down list.
NOTE: You can create an option by duplicating and modifying the Course publication type.
Simulation Preview
Select a simulation style you want to preview from the drop-down list.
NOTE: You can create an option by duplicating and modifying the Simulation publication type.
- Perform any of the following options:

You can also right-click on the publication to display a menu of options.

Modify a publication
- Select the publication you want to modify.
- Click Modify.
- Go to the next step.
NOTE: You can also double-click on the publication.
Duplicate a publication
- Select the publication you want to duplicate.
- Click Duplicate.
- Select a Language from the drop-down list.
- Enter a Name.
- Click OK.
Delete a publication
- Select the publication you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Click Yes.
Change the order the publication will appear in the drop-down list of the published documentation
- Select the publication you want to move.
- Click the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the sequence.
- Select Enabled to enable the publication.
- Perform any of the following options to modify phrases for the selected publication:

Add a custom phrase to use for the publication name
- Click Select Phrase.
- Click Add.
- Select a language from the left.
- Enter the text in the Content area.
- Click OK.
Select a phrase to use for the publication name
- Click Select Phrase.
- Select a Language from the drop-down list.
- Select a Phrase from the listbox.
NOTE: You can also enter text into the Phrases field to perform a search.
- Click OK.
- Perform any of the following options to modify sections for the selected publication:

Add a section
- Click Add.
- Select a section from the Sections list.
- Click OK.
Remove a section
- Click on the section you want to remove.
- Click Remove.
- Click Yes.
Change the order the section will appear in the published documentation
- Select the section you want to move.
- Click the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the sequence.
- Complete/review the following information in the Formats area:

Type
Displays the publication type.
NOTE: This field is display only and cannot be modified.
Handlebars Shell
This field is not available for all publications.
Select a shell to control the design of the output. The filename must begin with "shell_" and have an .html extension.
The default is shell_pt.html which cannot be deleted. To view the contents of or add additional handlebars shell files, refer to Specifying General Settings: Data Files.
Handlebars Template
This field is not available for all publications.
Select a template to control the design of the output. The filename must have an .hbs extension for handlebars script.
The default is handlebars_pt.hbs which cannot be deleted. To view the contents of or add additional handlebars template files, refer to Specifying General Settings: Data Files.
If you want to make Handlebars Template modifications, submit a ticket to Support to get useful schema information. Please provide ID 115001079763 in your ticket.
Image Crop Width
This field is not available for all publications.
Specify a width for cropped screen shots, which link to full size screens, in the output.
This governs how much content will fit on a single page, and affects image size in the third column.
NOTE: The maximum cropped width is 524.
Image Crop Height
This field is not available for all publications.
Specify a height for cropped screen shots, which link to full size screens, in the output.
This governs how much content will fit on a single page, and affects image size in the third column.
NOTE: The maximum cropped height for an image is 347.
Name
Enter a format name for the publication type.
This will be used on the publishing form and to create the directory structure during publishing.
Use default publication settings
Select this option to use the default publication settings.
Deselect this option to use custom publication settings.
NOTE: For custom publication settings, a Custom Settings option will display under the publication in the task pane.
Refer to Specifying Custom and Default Publication Settings to modify default and custom publication settings.
Enabled
Select this option to enable published output formats.
Sequence
Displays the order the published output formats will appear in the drop-down list of the published output.
NOTE: Click the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the sequence.
Name
Displays the name of the published output format.
Format
Displays the published output format type.
- Select to save the template.
