In addition to local publishing, uPerform content, managed documents, and web documents can be published directly from the Server. uPerform content can be published to the Learning Library end user website even if the template is not assigned to the project in which the content resides.
You must be a part of the Publishing Administrators role to publish content to the Learning Library website. For detailed information on roles, refer to Managing Users, Roles, and Groups.
The content types available for publication output are controlled by the template used to create the content. Content formats available for output are also governed by the Server. If the template for the document has been updated, you can republish all documents associated with the template.
Output formats for managed documents (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel formats) are dictated by the publication output types enabled on the server. Managed documents in other formats (for example, .pdf and .zip files) and web documents are not technically changed to an alternate format or type. In order for the end users to view any outputs, the content must be Published.
