The recycle bin acts as a safety net from which to restore deleted content. When a user deletes content objects, discussions, folders, and subfolders, these items are moved to a recycle bin; they are not permanently deleted from the Server.
There is one recycle bin for each project. A project administrator can empty the recycle bin for a project. The system administrator can restore or delete items for the entire Server. When restored, the item is returned to its original location in the document library. The restore operation sets the owner of the object to the user who restored the item. When objects are deleted from the recycle bin, they are permanently removed from the Server.
NOTE: |
A deleted project is not sent to the recycle bin. A deleted project, including all of its documents, messages, and folders, cannot be restored. |
